ABSTRACT: Production organizations pursue to minimize the physical wear and to remove incapacity reasons of subsystems. Provided historical data on the functional state of the facilities should be the basis for assessing the operational viability of enterprises, because long-term operation of the machinery causes numerous changes directly in the objects themselves and in the conditions of their use. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are used for the most commonly used performance measures in an enterprise. The paper presents a practical example of the use of quantitative tools to analyze the degree of machine utilization in the furniture industry and their interpretation of complex technical systems.
